Second Hand Smokes

The Sacramento Pipe Collectors' Assembly (or SPCA) is the pipe club for Sacramento, California. We are a very informal group, and you are invited to attend if you have any interest in getting together with other pipe smokers to chat. The SPCA meets twice a month, on the third Thursday of the month, at 6:00 p.m., and on the last Sunday, at 1:00 p.m. We always meet in downtown Sacramento at 1325 O Street #1, Gary Malmberg's home.

The club has no dues, no membership status, no officers, and almost always no agenda. Somehow that has worked fine since we were founded in 1998. You are always encouraged to bring a pipe or two to smoke during the meeting. And bring pipes to show off. We have often been known to buy and sell and trade pipes amongst us, or tobaccos, or accessories. Often we gather in Gary's pipe workroom for a lesson in buffing, polishing, staining, or repair.
